Paid Personel Receive Award - Laurel, Delaware

Crew members recently received an award in recognition for their actions that resulted in a "CPR Save". On July 11, 2012 personnel on the ambulance responded to a MVC involving a scooter vs pick up truck. Upon arrival actions were delivered; with the assistance of a nurse on scene and the ALS providers, that resulted in CPR being rendered to the patient. The patient ended up walking out of the hospital a few months later. Career FF-NREMT Matt Burge and Career FF-NREMT Calvin Yelverton both received an award presented to them by Ambulance Captain Amos Callaway for their efforts at the above incident.
