LFD Recognizes Fire Prevention Winners

On Sunday, November 24th Laurel Fire Department hosted an awards ceremony for the winners of its 2024 Fire Prevention Poster and Essay Contest. Children from across the Fire District represented their schools in completing a poster for grades kindergarten through 3rd grade. Students grad 4 through 8 prepared an essay on their given topic. First place winners advanced to the County Competition with awards being presented next week at the County Ceremony.
